Easter meant the library and copy centers were closed but not drug stores.
Having to print (or write) out a script in order to read it while recording it on my phone, I used the photo center in a CVS to print out some screenshots of the script. It took awhile for me and the CVS employee to figure out how to do it. The phone I had didn't register with the photo print kiosk when it was plugged in. So that meant downloading the app. The app didn't work without wifi but the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect so we tried bluetooth. The screenshots wouldn't take unless after a few tries. The phone is set up to take a screenshot when you push two buttons but it mostly thinks you're trying to lower the volume when you do that. Many of the screenshots took a picture of the volume lowering even when the screenshot function was taking place. So I got some 4 by 6 printouts of my script, read them while recording and got the file to my agent maybe an hour before deadline. And this time she didn't tell me the first one or two times that the file had no audio. (And then when I send the same thing four times there is magically audio.) But I did manage to send an email with no attachment. The different ways to do the same thing really matter. Some attachments are too big for certain procedures but then sometimes you can send a link- and then this new problem- recent links to Google Drive videos lead to the video but it can't be played. So sometimes a link to YouTube works. Anyway, I sang in a choir in the morning and due to a misunderstanding, missed the first part of the rehearsal. I know they were worried because I am "never" late. Pretty sure i didn't get the film because it started shooting already. Sometimes I want to see a tally of my auditions and success rate, and sometimes I don't. There's getting to be more and more- for once, at least for once since 1996, I had 4 events in the pipeline. So the customary down phase after a project coupled with rehearsals for the next one. So far, LCS very lenient, but I am giving them a new list of dates I can't work on tomorrow. SO that will be interesting.
Also, my Uncle Henry/Emerald City Gate Guard note cards came back to me. The velvet jacket is being used in Alice in Wonderland for the Frog Footman. I don't really know what a Frog Footman is, but it seems like a jacket one would wear.
