Thomas Hardy's
Life's Little Ironies, A Set of Tales With Some Colloquial Characters Entitled A Few Crusted Characters
I enjoyed reading these tales, especially being introduced to the character of Wat "Mop" Ollamoor, the dandy fiddler.
This edition was the 1968 Greenwood Edition by St. Martin's Press, MacMillan, which I like because I find it easy to read and I didn't see any typos. I notice that this edition uses single apostrophes, one facing up and one facing down, instead of quotation marks. There is also a space between the letter and the punctuation marks other than periods.
