I think it should be called Sitday 'though, since that is what I do on it.
Monday is more about working and days off, like Labor Day, than about the moon. On those Mondays, it's like we get an extra Sitday.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are old names based on Germanic/Scandinavian deities whose names have been Anglicized sometimes beyond recognition, and we don't even know what we're talking about.
This year, I want to watch what I talk about.
