Both that and this seem a little off target.  A lot off target.

 Well, I can't say that my dream for this blog came true....

but talking a moment to reflect upon it, here at a newly reopened library...   It's loud in here.  What kind of library is this?

Working in an area of a library with no walls, I realized I was talking and lots of people around; particularly at the  computer area, didn't want to hear me.  But here, Lantana Road, Palm Beach County, not Southwest Branch, Orange County... the kids squeal and the reference helpers talk loudly and people play their videos with sound, etc.

As current Uncle Henry, and already cast as Uncle Fester, what would I be doing if still in O Town?  I had no intention of leaving the library.  Pretty sure my last review was a 1.  How long would I have been there?  Boss Bethany gone at some point, so maybe would have had to do things above my ability, but couldn't I have learned?  I suppose so.  Why not audition for Disney entertainment again?  Would I have?  And ironically, now working in a department called Entertainment which is a better name than, what should it be called?  Flunkies?

Today I found out I got a raise on December 29.  Uh.... this is the second raise I didn't even know about.  So here's the trajectory for my record books:  They offered me 9 something.  I said, "I was expecting a little more" which was a lie, I was expecting a LOT more.  They said I would start at $10.  Then $10.50 then $11.00.  One was due to passing the 45 day mark, or was it the 90 day mark... and one was a secret, given to all of us because Blake complained, wanting more money.  Then in the yearly November review they brought me up to $11.33 and since then, well they pretended like nobody made more but we knew they did, and then I found out today that since 12/29 that's been true- except for boat captains and lifeguards... Well, maybe it's true, but who gives a raise without telling?
