the Norton again

We went up the steps, between the art deco statues and this time I looked around the corner at one of them. I don't know if I've ever done that before.

It was nice to share The experience with someone else.

The Gaugin still has the glass on it. And the Chinese room was a favorite. And you only play The Guessing Game once. But it was all fun.

Then we went to a bakery and Tea House, and I really want to try their food. The pastries were magnificent.

I thought I could help.

It's one of those things. And it's a recurring theme. I thought I could help. But sometimes somebody doesn't want help. You.

Doesn't mean it won't work at another time. But, maybe it won't work now.

It's really great, that I don't need them for anything. And if it's not helping, I can easily leave.

Weight and personal confidence

For the longest, I didn't weigh myself. I knew when clothes were tight, and I knew when they were loose. I always felt better when I could cinch the belt a little tighter though.

I never obsessed about it, and would buy clothes of different sizes and not worry about what size I was but only if I liked the clothes. If I liked it, I bought it.

I remember at Disney, some girl had a meltdown because the size that fit her was a really big number. But she was a lovely girl, and the size of Disney uniforms didn't mean anything to me but it devastated her.

And it's not like I'm just saying it, she wasn't big. And maybe Disney sizes are just with big numbers. I have no idea? And to me it means nothing.

But she was devastated.

For myself,

I didn't really think about it too much.

But as the months went on, I was happy as my waist got smaller, working outside, lifting things, and walking a lot.

I still remember trying to carry six costumes at Magic Kingdom and the name of my Animal Kingdom costume color, peanut butter!

And then there was the time I got off the bus, carrying my costumes and just because I had gotten smaller, my shorts were falling off but the lady behind me thought I was doing it for a fashion statement and scoffed in derision.

How many times have I judged people for wearing pants too big?

So I guess it serves me right.

Yesterday, I was being weighed and I guessed how much it was going to be. My mom, said it was going to be much less, and she was right!

So, despite the mantra that muscle weighs more than fat, and despite the fact that I can already tell my stomach is littler than usual, and despite the fact that I think intermittent fasting is a good idea for me, at least right now, I was so happy when I heard that little number!

What's going on there? Have I been indoctrinated into thinking that everybody needs to lose weight? No matter where they're at?

These influential people, that I can't identify. Are they the controllers, or the media or the elite?

Are they the same people that say we have to drink water every second of every day?

They probably sell us bladder control pills as well.

Great!

Srn news, you know, the ones who want you to vote Republican, just announced that the Rockefeller foundation made a human chicken embryo.

And I couldn't even get the scientist sitting across the table from me to admit that they could clone frogs a year before they told us about cloning a sheep!

Bethany and the big burger controversy

I'm in my corner office, on the corner of Hypoluxo and Military. And the internet was bad so I got to watch the text to speech as it changed capitalization and spelling dependent on context as I was adding it.

Eventually this text to speech will work, but the capitalization is a problem since it's not standard.

I watched as a couple came in and the wife is very curious and went to the self-service kiosk. But the husband went to the line to order as we've done for decades.

And I thought of my interview for my job at dr.  Phillips. I wasn't remotely qualified, but I helped a lot of people there.. and I remember in the job interview when I was asked, what do you think people are like? My disdain for people was just below the surface, my disdain for it just changed Midas to my disdain!

So I told my future boss that because I was working at Disney and because people ask me questions all the time, I thought people were in the main, curious. However, what I really meant and didn't realize it until I said it, was that people wanted to know what  rides and attractions were like without just going on them and experiencing them. What I was actually feeling, was that people were trying to control everything and not letting surprises surprise them.

But, thankfully I realized where my brain was headed, during the interview, and I quickly said something more acceptable, and got the job.

Of course it didn't call me for 6 months, and they first hired somebody else. But it was a great job for me, and I still haven't tried a quarter pounder to see how it's different than a regular Patty which I like very much.

Why is Patty capitalized, or?

Anyway, I learned a lot.

At least.

Israeli Embassy

When I heard the United States Embassy was moving from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem Jerusalem, I just thought it was common sense. Shirley Trump to do something that makes, sense right? Thank you text to speech for calling Trump Shirley. I meant the other Shirley.

But today I learned that the Israeli Embassy in London moved as well.

There was a thunderstorm.

And I left my phone at work. This was the first time I've been without my phone accidentally for longer than 10 minutes.

I haven't had it long, but already it has affected me and the way I go by my life. It was the day before a come-to-jesus talk with my boss, and the day of a come-to-jesus talk with her boss.

And it was the day the carpet got cleaned. How interesting that the text-to-speech understands come to Jesus as a hyphen word.

We did it

As we got our pictures taken again as the winners, we finally realized we are professional trivia players.

It's nice work if you can get it.

Once again

Somebody tells me their life story. And it's really interesting. But I can hear that voice in my head, you don't have time for this. Who cares? Why are you listening to this? When I go with it, though, it's a great story.

And whether somebody is paying me to listen or not, it's what is being said so, listen.

Facebook for criminals

It just struck me that if people's photos were posted on Facebook and Instagram Instagram when they did something wrong, less young people would get into trouble.

Some people are very interested in their image so why not take advantage of that?

Royal wedding

There's a difference in how I view this event now that I've been listening to conspiracy theories.

The teaser said that the queen quipped to Prince Philip. Two years ago I would have thought that she might say, hello or buck up or see you back at the castle.

But now I'm looking for words like kuru and signs that it's all an evil show. The Press doesn't help either. They're obviously telling us the things they want us to know. And on the surface that sounds fine. They want us to know what they want as to know. But just like everything else they do, they try to sway our opinion.

But are they also getting things wrong on purpose? With all this talk about fake news, they call the bride the bridge in the subtitles and once they say that the trousers are too tight and before that they say it might be the trousers or it might be the shirt. I'll admit I stopped watching, so maybe they're reporting isn't as bad as I think. But if I noticed problems in 2 minutes of halfway paying attention, what is the press up to?

We already know in politics that there is no unbiased report ever. But maybe the Royals illustrate this also. You got the Democrats who want to be a princess, so they like this stuff. And they interpret the Royals' words as endearing and making them look normal. And then you've got the people who don't want to be royal, who look for holes in the narrative.

Bitter Betty

Of course that is not her name. But I just visited her and she was so different then on the phone. In person she was a little critical, which is weird for these situations.
Usually people want to talk and they act like I'm wonderful. Just because I'm listening.

But bitter Betty was a little upset with me because she said I was an hour late. I don't think I was but it doesn't matter.

What matters is Betty has moved on into another stage of life which she cannot accept. It's getting harder and harder for her to remain ambulatory. But she freely admits it's a mental problem. There's no mental diagnosis. But bitterness and thinking only of herself has brought her to the point where everything is difficult and this expresses itself most in her attempts to walk.

There's so many Lonely People who won't call anybody. And there's so many people who only want things their own way.

She told me her husband laughter or rather she left him. She told me her daughter is a drunk. She told me her ex lives pretty close by but they haven't spoken for 7 months. She told me the neighbors are all unsuitable. And she doesn't want to talk to anybody. But on the phone she was so Charming, and so polite that nearly anyone would want to be her phone friend.

Surely that would be good for her and for them.

So maybe phone friends is a new project.

It's so simple. Find somebody who wants to talk and give them the phone number of someone else in the same situation.

I think I just haven't had enough Diana Ross in my life recently.

You might be cool but

you aren't sitting in Taco Bell, drinking a Bud Light that's super size and eating a chalupa whose shell is made out of chicken with one hand and wearing sunglasses.

Run for the Border.

Meeting People

Text to speech. Forgive the spelling errors.

So I'm trying to meet more people, and spend time with people who are not negative. And it's interesting.

Today I met   at Jeff's house. Garyary met y I day oday.

I'm not even going to try to fix that one.

Yesterday I'm at Tammy, at a client's house.

And today in the office we had a long green iguana, bright green. It was fun listening to the ladies scream. But they caught it, I didn't.ft

Con Theory

I've decided to use the title Con Theory. It's better than the word truth or truther.

I recorded my first audio, which was really a video, on Genesis 1:1.

Who will see where this takes me.

Once Upon A Urinal

So there was this time and we were in a hurry and somebody stopped to put lipstick on.

I was like "Oh no, you're kidding me," but I learned something right then, that day.  There is a moment when there is a choice whether or not to freak out, and if you catch it there- you can then move on, without losing your mind for a minute.

Two great senior conversations

Still in my corner office at Westgate and Military Trail... And I just met George. We talked about Animal Farm, in which some people are more equal than others, socialism, styling, and my hope and America is renewed.

The News That's divided. It's not the people.

I just came from somebody's house, and they live where George lives... Good Ole Century Village. She grew up in Eastern Europe. He was in the Army here. She fled the Communists and the fascists to Germany and then came here obviously. And now they scream at each other all day.

So is the Lady Jones says, ambulation is very important. But before that we have issue of isolation. And that's what the news is doing. But we're not quite that stupid, not all the time anyway.

we're killing ourselves by eating too much. But fasting is going to catch on. Sure some groups will always hate each other, but there's a guy working really hard at McDonald's right now and their people, friendly and open, who see it.

It's a win-win.

McDonald's at Westgate

Near different end of the neighborhood I used to live, there's a McDonald's. It's the kind of McDonald's that used to be everywhere.

There are no kiosks.

Table tops are dated.

The other one, where the super slide and the pantry pride and the Kresge or Kmart were, and the top hat Car Wash which is still there under a new name, while they're little more flashy.

We've reached the point where the weather is going from perfect to hot.

And I just saw text-to-speech change too to to.

 This is a great technology.

Do you remember Stenographers?

Do you reme dictation  Devices? mber

I can't imagine my text-to-speech do that, can you?

Mister yeet

It was a few years ago. I was introduced to slither. Also known as Slither Rio. Well that's not how you spell it, but text to speech is trying its best.

Sometimes me and that snake hang out for hours. It's such a simple game.

Don't get eaten.

How's that work for you?
