Folks and food

Remember, doing, and seeing, kids playing well the dogs want them to eat?

I think, that playing is more important than food and that shedden's need connection more than they need Meals on Wheels.

I say, provide fruit on the table and then let people eat whenever they want to. Don't talk about it, don't watch shows about it, don't write recipes, don't eat when you're mad or happy or sad, and we might learn to eat when we're hungry and to know what we should be eating.

I'm starting to think, that if a person really wants a certain food, that it might be okay for them to eat that food. But, we need to know the difference between really wanting to eat a food, and eating a food for another reason.

There's always familiarity, there's always availability, there's always peer pressure, there's always thinking you want something when deep down you really don't.

I've heard of The Hunger that's in the throat and not the tummy. Maybe that's the key.

Food folks and fun

In a happy place, just listened to Lisa Lisa whose concert I went to with expose, which should be capitalized.

Then heard, Michael McDonald What a Fool Believes. I love What a Fool Believes. Not just for Michael McDonald, but also because I'm in McDonalds. And because Donald is the president. Not really.

What a Fool Believes it's one of the few pop songs that's not about love.

And, in the parking lot I saw a stork. He probably lives at John Prince Park most of the time. A nice to be able to fly over here. I would have flown over here, if I could have.

All McDonald's, should have an animal component. Just like more Lakes, should have boardwalks and encourage Turtles fish and birds. I don't know if the McDonald's on Military and Boynton Beach Road flanks all those birds there. But I would add a boardwalk. Drainage can become a lovely park.

Now, I'm enjoying your So Vain, and remembering, how I want to turn the Carly Simon song, beautiful to strangers into hip-hop. With repetition.

Some Songs

"Something" and some songs to blend together instrumentally so that people will switch back and forth with the well-known lyrics in their mind.

Someday My Prince Will Come

Somewhere

Somewhere Out There

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

An idea I had, when I was wanting to score Jason's movie. I think he was doing one about America and the flagpole, but I wanted to do the short story I was Princess man and Princess Diana.

Daze with Jordan the Lion - #150 The MAE WEST UNOFFICIAL MUSEUM w/ Tim Malachosky pt. 1 (1/6/17) old...

Mae West Again

So I just got finished watching Sextette and it brings up so many questions.

I hate it when her age is discussed.  But I see why.  If she wasn't dead, I wouldn't talk about her physical appearance.

It may have helped if she had been the only woman in the film, and the only blonde, or at least the only one with lighter hair than dark blond.  But, instead, she's the only one who isn't young.

Not a good look for any star.

In the days before Judy D. and Helen M. and other women over 40 having something to do in a film other than be the old lady, it's clear why women weren't given parts like that.  With all the young dancers and the fresh faced men... well, its a problem.

With the non-glamorous roles- being surrounded by the world leaders, or the natural acting of the body builders, she is better.

And some of it isn't her fault at all.  Several times she has makeup that's a little green or blue.  I suppose they wanted her to film white, not yellow, but it's too much and it happens for too long and in more than one scene.  Also, putting her against a white background seems like it might work well, but it blends in with the color of her hair, not her face, so it makes her look a little more like bald than blond.  This is absolutely the opposite, not just a little off, of what we want.

I read a biography, and a saw a wonderful YouTube video of a tour of a former assistant showing us gowns and headdresses and jewelry and it was a completely different vibe in both of those.  In those, and even that tour where she actually wasn't, she's a star.

Her waist is much too thick.  In her biography, I think it was Anthony Quinn (non-Mexican name like Lynda Carter, Raquel Welch and Spanish Rita Hayworth) who said in real life she was just petite but on film she photographed fat.  I absolutely believe that to be true because there wasn't any back fat.  Normal size women have back fat, and with what appears to be a thick waist and even a gut,   what were you thinking Edith Head, what a big surprise and disappointment,     from the back she's not as big.  But why do I know that?  Why is a star shown from the back, except of course, the time she shakes her butt.

Her costumes are above the top but her face doesn't move much and her voice is understated.  That's right.  Her voice is understated.  There is that pitch thing she does and that vibrato thing she does, but for once I noticed that they're not as flamboyant as her lines of dialogue or her costumes, or the delicious silliness of the whole idea and its jokey parts.

There are a lot of good ententres and farcical elements.  But I think it couldn't make up its mind if it was going to be slightly off color or slightly really off color.  This may be splitting hairs, but the last line in the movie should be the only one that clear, or else they should have gone for it and had them all like that, but I'm glad they didn't.  I think, instead that the lines should have all been on the level of the tame jokes, except for the last line.

The music too, can't decide if it's all out or if its understated.  The theme is sung by a bad chorus.  What a surprise.  I think they should have used a Disney cartoon or Mitch Miller or Robert Shaw chorus, with flawless vocals on top of a disco background.  Maybe that would have stricken a balance between the 30s snd 70s style needed to pull this off.

The other people around Mae West should have been all men, and some old men and some frumpy men and some muscle men, some dancers, some young faces- and they all fall for her with same attitude.

There is a vibe of the time with the men that falls into that Robert Wager/Lyle Waggoner/Robert Conrad/Jim West vibe- but I think it's mostly the hair and clothes of men at that time, and not something that is a fault of the movie's.  I think maybe West's dialogue should have been delivered in exactly the same tone, but add some facial movements and make her singing dramatic and theatrical so there wouldn't be a contrast with her energy and everyone else's when it's time to sing and dance.  She has a good thing going on but it's not showcased.

I can't tell if it was fun on the set, or fun only for the extras and those who aren't real actors.  Some of that might be an excuse why the actors didn't really shine.  The stars should have been either the prettiest boys they could find or the storied biggest stars they could fine.  Maybe it would have been great to have all four Beatles.  I can't decide if they would have been better in one scene together or with four side plots highlighting their differences.  But Ringo had the exact attitude they all should have had.

George Hamilton and Keith Moon and Alice Cooper were dressed alike.  And even Tony Curtis was dressed alike, but differentiated himself from the others in his acting.  Each of these needed to be completely different from the others.  The whole point of the movie is that every type of man that ever lived thinks they can't live without Mae West.  So maybe one of the body builders should have had a bigger part and maybe an adolescent and a child and a toddler and a baby boy should have really mooned over her, not to mention a couple old men.

See what I mean?

You can't have a movie where one fresh-faced buy follows her around all the time and then there's lots of jaunty male dancers.  Instead, you need a movie where every single male does that.

And if you can't have the Real Marlon Brando, either make a stronger Mafia milieu surrounding George Hamilton or forget it.  The Jimmy Carter looker makes it because there is such a clear emphasis on world peace and the conference.  Brando seems thrown in.

Speaking of 007, good joke and nice reference having future Bond do some Bond stuff.  The stuntman should have been a little less limber in two scenes.  And Dalton should have been showcases as a stronger athlete, not just an unlike funny athlete.

The gay references make me go back to the "Hollywood is deliberately moving the culture" but how do I know the different between that, and people who accept it just writing about it?  And if the culture is being deliberately moved, and I have no doubt now that Anita Bryant has been proved right- are they doing it to help people?

Why not have the short guy fall for her?  Short people can't resist Miss Manners.  In fact, no man can.  Maybe a couple gay guys can give up on each other once she enters the room, and they rush off to stand at both sides of her.

Speaking of both sides, there was something noncommital  and rushed about the way she pointed to her assets.  That and the butt scene should have been more alike.

Maybe she could have had some more non-male traits.  Boy, that sounds funny to say.  Who is more non-male?  But maybe she could move slow and everybody else move fast, or athletically.  Maybe some of them could have been less soy boy or more forceful or crude.  But I guess no crudeness apart from slight sexual innuendo makes the most sense.

Overall, it was hard to find facial expressions or makeup that show anything as magical as paintings of her, or many of her photographs.  Too much eyeliner?  Today, all the women wear eyeliner, but back then?  Was it generally that prominent?

Basically I'm sick of talking about the movie.  I genuinely laughed more than I would for a movie of that time and type.  And I genuinely smiled at many other points.  And I don't think any of it is her fault.  Movies can make a crone sexy.  And she wasn't even approaching cronedom.

Its easy to watch a movie and find lots of places where things could have been more consistent or in a different tone- when the camera should have held a little longer, when the line should be said differently.  Those post filming thoughts are so much easier than discovering how to do them while filming.  I'm fixing something.  They had to create it.

I wonder how much of the film was her.  The story, obviously.  But how much else.  Back in the day, she wanted to be seen as the star, not the producer or writer.  Here, they give her credit for singing one song.  Hello, she sang a few songs.

Today with all the blond sexy ladies in the former pantheons, and the cool blondes too, what is the legacy of this woman who made her own way in the world without hardly leaving the Ravenswood?  I wonder how she looked in that white castle?  The raunchiness was paved by her, but did she want it to stay at that level and not go further.  This was after Harlow and Monroe.  But we needed a little wider eyes like them, and some of their makeup tricks.

It's better to be seen as the blond then the old fat one.  That's what Lydia said.

Nice hair, maybe the costumes were too old fashioned, and why was there hardly any height difference between this tiny woman and all those men?  I understand not wanting the star to appear little, but maybe it could have highlighted the dimorphism which was a little lacking.

I guess maybe she was a real female since she didn't seem like a drag queen.  But I'm glad she didn't go that far.  I think her balance in tone was right.

I've already forgotten all the guys in the film.  Except for the scene with the body builders.  In that one, she's the only one in clothes, and around all that big tanness she shines.

the problem with pattern making

The ability to speak and the ability to read,
Require so many assumptions.

Assumptions are human, and therefore, spiritual. Meaning simply and not mystically, the assumptions are something that people do in the animals don't do.

Anything that animals do is natural, and anything that people do the animals don't do is, in this definition, spiritual.

So, as Spiritual Beings, people create their reality, they live within one, buffeted and Confused and confident and irrationally and with common sense, alternately.

So how many facts does it take, to reach a conclusion? How far do we question, before we stop, and go with our thoughts?

I've been watching so many transvestigation videos, that I'm convinced, that there must have been some Shakespearean actors, who stayed women, even though they were not born as girls.

And, and all the lies that there been since then, there must be one, is doing that now. But how many?

Is it a personal thing, or an underground movement?

Unquestionably, people are being forced to go along with individual and incorrect self identifications. If you identify as a roll of toilet paper, we are supposed to let you wipe our ass. This is insanity, but who's doing it, and why?

I remember transvestic ater Laura Lee performer apostle, talking about Marilyn and Jackie being the same person. 2 icons of femininity, with very different body types, started me thinking, and even though I thought she was so wrong about that, but not wrong about everything, and very sincere, it was a joke.

By the time I saw the sheriff of Orange County dancing to Whitney Houston's I want to dance with somebody in Celebration at the largest shooting event in American history, something had broken.

It wasn't just that I knew that they were broken, by parading the Puerto Ricans and the bathroom choosers and the patriotic shirts on the wrong day, and the interviewee with too many hats, and the people being interviewed who are trying to cry, but when they release the footage inside the pulse showing no blood anywhere that purporting to be during and after the event, oh yeah and the gay thing too. They were just trying to push too many buttons with one event.

And, it was a commercial for Dunkin Donuts.

And the Texas, I think it was Houston, police drama was a commercial for Bank of America. And hurricanes are commercials for Home Depot.

It's not just about money anymore.

Somebody's trying to see what they can get us to do.

The Mandela effect, doesn't have me at all. Because, I remember remembering things differently than many people, in many different situations, since I was 3 years old. But, I have to admit that just because something happened for a long time, doesn't mean it isn't sinister.

I always thought other people remember things wrong. But now I realize, that I remember things wrong 2.

As far as abuse goes, I've always thought of it as individuals but this whole MK Ultra panhandler, and controller is she a, below the surface of society, it's fascinating.

I think, it's much easier Tippy these stories to the Press, and get people and citizen journalists talking about this, then to actually organize any kind of real abuse. Just like I think, that Mary 40 is telling us what the record industry wants us to think.

At a certain point, the Mystique, and the questions are publicity.

I do believe that there are evil forces, but I have a hard time thinking, even though the Bible says it, that Darren control of this world. So, that's either true or it's not, but the question is, for me, how in control are they?

The ultimate control that God has, isn't, in my opinion, a controlling of every detail. And that the Odyssey question, make that theodicy, continues to be above my pay grade. I thought it was so stupid, to try to make that into a major in my graduate program, how do you study at? It's so beyond but we can apprehend. But here I am, listening to people they think they know all about it.

The chair I'm sitting in is solid, but it's also made up of tiny things that are not connected except in relationship to one another, so is it solid? What is solid?

The one that gets me, is that the table is actually every color but an ugly Gray because it is absorbing everything but ugly Gray. But at the same time, gray only means that I see it is gray and also, the color you see isn't the color I see. I suppose, due to Regeneration, and autophagy, and degeneration, the color I see at any given time isn't the same as before. Just like the river I go into, isn't the same as the one you go into. Because we either go in at different times or and at different places.

But, there is a river and we can tell where it starts and ends and how it goes generally without getting hung up on the non-quantifiable out of our pay grade minutiae.

The Today Show now and then

Today I'm halfway watching The Today Show.

No TV at home, but I'm at the ghetto McDonalds.

At the bottom of the screen is the cartoon of Hoda and Kathie Lee.

Isn't it great a text-to-speech knows how to spell them with no problem?

Back in the day, I like to Kathie Lee's effervescence. Before that, I like your on Regis and Kathie Lee. Before that oh, I didn't like her on those Cruise commercials.

But, notice the text-to-speech doesn't know how to and when not to capitalize cruise.

I didn't understand that that was the same person at first. And I think way back there in my memory, I liked the let's make a tune no, Name That Tune show. And I think that was her.

I think Kathy leaves career, no, Kathie Lee's Courier, no career, would be a great case study. From the Scandal of overseas workers, wish every big company had, in the scandal of her husband, which may or may not be in every Hollywood marriage, and the way she had to make fun of her singing, even though her singing is just fine, to her Aimee Semple McPherson Musical, and how she may have gotten kicked off of a couple shows, or have decided to leave, it's an interesting.

Is it a tale of how the workplace has changed over the decades?

Or is it a tale of her Christian profession getting in the way of the Illuminati controllers plans? I remember her pointing out the Kardashians Christianity. And I remember her talking about Jesus frankly when Frank died.

Today, the YouTube conspiracy theories, are working in my head overtime.

Instead of seeing her replacement, I see the spawn of Satan the daughter of the grave Warlock and his mother the newly Dead witch. And then I see that tranny, and I see those Two and a Half Men Women interviewing Real Women about how to be happy.

At first, I loved the professor study because we are told the too much money is bad for us, and not enough money is bad for us, and as long as we have enough money to pay the bills, and to take two vacations a year, we'll have a good life.

Then the commercials for vacation spots came on, and I realized, and to keep us on this hamster wheel, One Vacation used to be enough, and now they know we need to, so they're giving us the minimum.

Watching the trannies interview real women, is something I see sometimes. And then sometimes, I just see women. I never thought such a thing, when I watch the view everyday.

But Wendy Williams was a clue.

Do YouTubers question every mainstream narrative. And it's too much. We have to believe in something sometime.

Well, I guess they do believe in something. They believe that everything mainstream media says is wrong. But, even the devil says truth sometimes.

We're attracted to the truth mixed with lies. Just like I like coffee that's sweet. But my younger more innocent palette, no, palate, just wanted the Sweet.

Now, I want the truth, but I also want to be right. I want to see the foolishness, but I don't want to admit that I've been fooled.

Well, today is a new day.

Not now and then, but everyday. No, text to speech, every day.

Bette goes Chinese

Madame Sin (1972)

Some familiar faces.  The opening scene with camera cuts that draw in the viewer and get them interested.  Then the rest of the movie doesn't have quite the same craftsmanship with editing and camera work.

Overhead shots are nice.

The main guy slaps a nun, so you know this is going to be good.

For some reason, even though I liked it, the movie reminds me of the restaurant with the culturally inappropriate name that included "Chinee Takee Outee."  This was in Tallahassee.

Robert Wagner's acting, for a minute, reminds me of Robert Reed's which I saw last night on Fantasy Island.

I've never seen one being shaved so closely to the camera before.

I wonder why in films, people are always rushing to help other people off of helicopters?  Do they ever just turn one off, and wait for the wind to stop and then get out?  I mean, ever?  Maybe only very busy people ever buy a helicopter.

Music is food for the hungry soul.

You're a prisoner only if you think of yourself as one.

I'm impressed with her look.  She looks a little Endora here; not as Bette Davis- always the same despite the decade- as usual.  Looking at clips today, it's not true that Bette Davis always looked the same.  But she always looks like Bette Davis.

Here, though...    she looks happy and healthy.

A tape recorder the size of a cigarette packet....  amazing thought at the time?

Nice James Bond type of movie without all the excitement.  Doesn't sound like a compliment, but I don't mean any shade.

Today looking at the Valentine's candy, I noticed that purple has been added to the bright red and the soft pink.

The purple I saw in Christmas lights, was a richer color, and this one is closer to pink.

A darker purple has been added to Halloween, and that one is closer to the Easter purple.

Construction sign

 I never seen this one.

No, text to speech, I said
I've never seen this one.

Buy the new big High Ridge Road and Hypoluxo convenience store Construction,

Why is that capitalized?

The standard looking temporary construction ahead sign said instead

Steel plate ahead
