Are the Ten Commandments

something we don't follow at all?

Well, I was always taught that idolatry was something in the past, or, it meant believing in something more than God.

But, it's very easy to say one believes in God. Just like it's very easy to say One Believes In a sports team. Or one believes in one's country.

But, if we don't do anything for those entities, are they really an idol?

So, one way to think about it, is that we should do things for God, that someone would do for an Idol.

I'm going to ignore the random capitalization at this text to speech.

Yesterday, I was thinking about gluttony.

Like idolatry, I was thinking it was something of the past.

Really?

Everybody in my family is fatter than the person we used to think was fat.

How about, pretty much all of us are gluttons?

Depressed persons mode of living, which is, a successful day is getting out of the house and going to a restaurant, is proof.

It's world-changing to realize that food is an addiction for almost everybody.

And, not judging the obese person, gives us permission to ignore ourselves.

But, then, so does Jesse in the obese person.
