I just finished another Thomas Hardy novel that contained more talk of secret weddings. In this one, the main character is not fickle in love because it's not his fault that his well-beloved never cloaks herself in the same mortal body for very long.
I know exactly how he feels.
In the last several Thomas Hardy editions I've read, books that look like the one above with black and red covers, I haven't found any spelling errors. The abundance of spelling errors I notice, without trying, in nearly all printed material, including my own, bothers me and distracts me from reading.
